About
I'm AJ, short for Ashutosh Joshi. ajosq is my name compressed, and this site is my base.
I ran a tech agency for three years. Software, automations, growth systems, all built for other people's businesses. It taught me the full loop: how things get built, how they get sold, and how much of most companies' work is repetitive stuff nobody should be doing by hand. I left to build my own products instead.
I'm a generalist by choice. Strategy, code, UX, automation, SEO, distribution. I move between them depending on what the problem needs, and I'm not interested in being boxed into one job title. The label I use: a Swiss Army knife for building products.
What I build: small tools where AI removes real manual work. I prefer boring problems with real economic value over flashy tech looking for a use case. A product doesn't need to be revolutionary. It needs to be painful enough to solve and simple enough to run.
Everything ships in public, starting from an audience of almost nobody. The Lab has each experiment; the Blog has the honest version of how it's going.
Work with me
I take on a small amount of AI automation and product work for founders and small businesses. It funds the experiments. If you have a repetitive process that eats your week, email hello@ajosq.com or DM @ajosq on X.
